I'm excited about Ray Rice - can you keep us posted on his progress ? thanks ( EDIT: I think Ray will be involved in the offense this year, they are excited about all the things that he can do. It will be a huge benefit to the Ravens having Craig Ver Steeg on the staff who was Ray's position coach and running backs coach at Rutgers)

Great idea Casey. Thanks. How many WR's do you think we'll carry this season? Who do you see most likely to make the team at that position, and are any of them practice squad candidates?( EDIT: I will say 5 as of now : Mason, Williams, Clayton,Figurs(although he is mainly return guy), then either Justin Harper or Marcus Smith. My guess is Smith and try to put Harper on practice squad. Ernie Wheelwright is a guy to watch, they like him for his size 6-5)

Re: Ravens questions    By Paul on 7/20/2008 1:32 PM

What are the biggest differences you've noticed from the new offensive line coaches that Jim Harbaugh brought in, compared to how Colletto and Foerster coached the o-line?(EDIT: One of the biggest thing's I have seen early on from Harbaugh and John Matsko the new O-line coach is the o-line getting to the second level. That has been a point you hear repeated a bunch at the camps was get to the second level. This is going to be a o-line with a mean streak in them and out to prove they are not as bad as everyone thinks they are going to be

Re: Ravens questions    By Bazooka Joe Rules on 7/20/2008 3:46 PM

How many safeties do they keep? If it is 4 like I believe, who is the odd man out: Zbikowski, Leonhard, Nakamura?(EDIT: Honestly I think you will see all three of them stay.Haruki, and Zbikowski, are going to be big contributers on special teams and where they will get most of the playing time. Jim Leonhard is another guy who will get most of his time on special teams. So I think it is very possible all 3 will make team)

Re: Ravens questions    By Ed from Park Heights on 7/20/2008 6:12 PM

If Gaither flames out at the LT position, would the move be to put Terry back at the LT and let Oneil Cousins man the right?(EDIT: That is one option, they also have Marshal Yanda they can use there and David Hale could fit into that mix also)

Re: Ravens questions    By Jim from Dundalk on 7/20/2008 6:16 PM

Great idea Casey,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,will Sunday be the day of each new blog ? How many questions will you entertain ? One quick one , how long do you think it will take before one of the veterans complains about too many 'two-a-days' ?&lt;br&gt;<br>(EDIT: I am thinking about doing this twice a week, maybe Monday or Tuesday and Friday..I will answer every question that is asked. I do not know if you will hear anyone complaing publicly about the "two-a-days", but trust me players will be talking to the media privately about it.)

Re: Ravens questions    By Jay on 7/20/2008 8:03 PM

Case, I love the ravens coverage on NST. I was sick to here the redskins got Jason Taylor. How does are pass rush look this year?(EDIT: Thanks for the compliments, we will have some cool stuff this year from camp. I think the pass rush will be a lot better this year. Losing Trevor was huge for the team last year, he changed a big dynamic when he was gone. I think Terrell Suggs, Bart Scott, and Ray Lewis will have big years. Also look for Dan Cody if he can stay healthy to be a force on the D-line. The Ravens are also very impressed and excited about Antwan Barnes this year)
