Wilson Talks Decision Wed, 23 Jul 2008 03:46:22 GMT
Danville, Va., product David Wilson was a highly coveted ball carrier that had been offered by 17 programs from around the country, but when it came down to decision time Virginia Tech and Auburn were the two programs that stood out most to him. After committing on Thursday, we were able to catch up with him recently to talk about his decision.
Don't Sleep on Stroff Wed, 23 Jul 2008 03:46:09 GMT
Anthony Stroffolino is one of two very talented linebackers at Southern Regional High School that will end up playing football at the collegiate level, but the most pressing question for him is what level that will be. He has already gotten an offer from Columbia and has massive interest from Division I-AA programs, but the FBS is definitely calling as well.
New Faces, New Numbers Tue, 22 Jul 2008 14:47:58 GMT
Training camp begins this coming weekend, and thousands upon thousands of Jaguars fans will make the trek to the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium practice fields to get sunburn and take in the action. We at JagNation are going to better prepare you by listing the new players on the roster by number, and giving you a very brief analysis.
Operation Instant Analysis: D.J. Adams Tue, 22 Jul 2008 13:16:26 GMT
Teams can never get too many every-down backs. Players who have both the physicality to take the wear and tear of getting hit time after time and the athleticism to be a viable threat out of the backfield. Norcross HS (GA) standout and Maryland commit D.J. Adams appears to be just that kind of back.
Georgia RB Makes Decision Mon, 21 Jul 2008 16:16:12 GMT
D.J. Adams, running back from Norcross, Ga., put Maryland at the top of his list over four months ago. At a press conference held at his school today, he chose Maryland over three other schools, and he explains why.

Maryland Strategy and Personnel Fri, 18 Jul 2008 21:40:06 GMT
2008 OUTLOOK: The Terrapins will be looking for more consistency after a 2007 season that saw big wins coupled with frustrating losses. Maryland made a lot of key mistakes a year ago that cost it games, and as a result has made over both its offensive and defensive schemes. The team is a darkhorse in the ACC race, and has the talent to make some noise, but on offense, the big key will be getting the ball in the hands of its playmakers, like Darrius Heyward-Bey and Da'Rel Scott.
Maryland Inside Slant Fri, 18 Jul 2008 21:40:05 GMT
Apart from the familiar red, white and black uniforms, it may be hard to recognize Maryland when play resumes in September. The squad that finished 6-7 after an Emerald Bowl loss in 2007 is undergoing major schematic changes on offense, defense and special teams. Head coach Ralph Friedgen relinquished control of the offense during the offseason, hiring James Franklin as the offensive coordinator.
